A Master of Arts (MA) in Theology program is designed for individuals seeking to gain advanced knowledge and comprehension of theology, biblical studies, and related disciplines. This program typically requires students to hold a bachelor’s degree in religion or a related discipline, and courses often include biblical interpretation, theological ethics, history of religions, church ministry, and systematic theology. The program is intended for students who want to develop expertise in a particular area of theology, either for personal or vocational reasons. The Master of Theology program prepares students to be critical thinkers, theologians, and leaders committed to serving their communities.

Programme Learning Outcomes
  • Developing students advanced knowledge of the Bible, its interpretation, theology, and doctrines.
  • Understanding and engaging with the diverse cultural experiences and traditions that shape theological inquiry and practice.
  • Mastering critical thinking skills to analyze, evaluate, and respond to theological issues, problems, and questions.
  • Building leadership skills that enable graduates to provide guidance, mentorship, and spiritual direction to communities, churches, and organizations.
  • Developing advanced research and writing skills to produce and disseminate theological knowledge through academic publications, seminars, and presentations.
What we Offer
  • Our Master of Theology (MTh) Students will be groomed and taught how to conduct general and biblical research in Kingdom-Christian Theology at the TICK.
  • Our graduated students from this department will be conferred an “Associate Christian Theologian” (ACT) upon publishing at least three research articles.
  • Our MTh graduates will be able to serve as Graduate Lecturers or Research Assistants at TICK, and SKT departments.
  • Our MTh graduates will automatically become our ambassadors and represent us all over the world.
Programme Structure

This great program is taught via lectures, seminars, group work, computer-based learning, independent learning and research. Writing lab of Timothy Imuwahen Centre for Kingdomology (TICK) is an important parts of this course. During that time, you will benefit from practical learning and be supported by the TICK Certified Associates and Fellows, Christian scholars and pastoral leaders in Christian research methods and integration. At the end of your program, you will be conferred an “Associate Christian Theologian.”

Research Lab

Students in the program has access to the Timothy Imuwahen Centre for Kingdomology (TICK) for extensive training in research and publications.

Publication Centre

After your research work at TICK, Students will submit and publish their articles at the African Journal of Kingdom Education (AJOKE) seamlessly.

IT Provision

You can access free Wi-Fi throughout the Seminary or the Writing Lab, so you can work from anywhere. If you don’t want to carry a laptop around, just use one of the Seminary’s PCs.


Testament, Witness and Order (TWO) Conference hold biannually where Christian scholars, Professionals and Kingdom Orators come in to talk on topics in the Christendom and other spheres of influence.
