OFFICE OF THE FOUNDING PRESIDENT

It is with profound joy and gratitude to God that I welcome you all to Testament Theological Seminary. Today marks a new chapter in our shared journey of faith, learning, and service. As we gather here, united in purpose and mission, I am reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). It is on this foundation that Testament Theological Seminary stands—a foundation of truth, faith, and the unchanging Word of God.

To our Students
You are the heart of this institution. Your calling to pursue theological education is not merely academic; it is a sacred commitment to deepen your knowledge of God, to grow in His wisdom, and to be equipped for Kingdom service in a world that desperately needs hope and truth. We are here to challenge you, nurture you, and walk alongside you as you prepare to be faithful servants and leaders for Christ’s Kingdom.

To our Faculty
You are more than educators; you are mentors, guides, and co-laborers in the vineyard of the Lord. Your role is vital in shaping the minds and hearts of these future Kingdom leaders. I thank you for your dedication, scholarship, and willingness to model Christlike character. Let this Seminary be a place where truth is taught, faith is nurtured, and the Spirit of God is evident in all we do.

To our Staff
Your contributions may sometimes go unnoticed, but they are indispensable to the success of this commission. From administration to operations, you are the hands and feet that make this vision a reality. Your work is ministry, and we are deeply grateful for your unending service.

Our Mission
At Testament Theological Seminary, we are committed to equipping believers for Kingdom service, grounded in the authority of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We aim to cultivate a community where faith and scholarship meet, questions are welcomed, and the love of Christ binds us together in unity.

As we embark on this journey together, I encourage each of you to approach this season with humility, courage, and a readiness to be transformed by God’s Word. Let us strive for excellence not only in academics but also in our spiritual formation and relationships with one another.

Finally, I invite us all to lean into God’s vision for this Seminary. Let us pray fervently, serve selflessly, and fully trust the One who began this good work in us. Together, let us build a legacy that honours Christ and impacts generations to come.

Welcome to Testament Theological Seminary. May God bless you, guide you, and empower you as we begin this remarkable journey together.

In Christ’s service,

Timothy Imuwahen (PhD)
